: I'm currently working and this is the conversation going on in the class where I'm working..
-
Presenter: I'm just going to assume that everyone here is life-long Appalachia...
-
*Me thinking*: wow guy, check yourself. Do you know where you are? There's like no one from this area here...
-
Teacher: Well, raise your hand if you're from this area
-
: Out of 26+ students 2 people raise their hand
-
Presenter: Wow, I thought this school would pull from around the area.
-
Teacher: yeah, I had a student from Hawaii that would leave Hawaii to come here..and in the winter!
-
Me: *blushes* *and thinking* Haha, that's me. Well, she's not talking about me, but that's me. This guy is irritating me for some reason. Why would you assume something like that? :P
I got a text today from a friend from school saying she was doing a crossword puzzle today and it was about Hawaii and she thought of me and said a prayer. I just thought of how amazing that is that some people are praying for me and I don’t even know about it. It’s so comforting that I have that kind of support from people and that people are praying for me. It makes me feel so loved. These kinds of things really make me appreciate my school and my friends that I have there. I really do love my school :)

How I miss and love my school and the people at it :)

First day at work on my first job. This is so exciting. And so incredibly easy. I’m so glad I got this job.
Despite everything that’s going on, I’m doing incredibly well. My first day of classes of Sophomore year went pretty okay for the most part. I have a lot of friends in my last two classes today. But my first class was absolutely terrible at first. I got sick and got really bad cramps and I felt like passing out in the first 20 minutes so I had to leave and get water and come back and I felt a bit better but my stomach still felt sick so I had a banana and took some medicine and I felt better the rest of the day.
God (through Taylor :)) saved me from walking past the most horrid person today and I’m grateful for that :)
And things are going pretty smoothly. I’m sitting at the computer in the Mac lab and I’m so incredibly hungry but I don’t get off for another hour and fifteen minutes so when no one’s in the room, I’m going to eat my granola bar. Hahaha.
SMOOOOOTH SAILING :)
